Day 1- A Return to the Homeland.
I'm originally from Maine. I love my New England Heritage... just about as much as I love my New England Patriots today. (Bring it, Giants!!) Today, I paid homage to my home state by visiting Lukes Lobster (www.lukeslobster.com) on S. William St, and for $18.25, I got a delicious claw meat filled Lobster Roll (Complete with toasted hotdog bun- totally New England Style!), chips and a Maine Root Lemon Lime soda. A fantastic meal.. the only thing that would have made it a little bit better, would be if the meat had been warmed slightly. The warm bun with the cold lobster claws was slightly off-putting... but still extremely delicious!! I would definitely go back here again. I think I was handed a frequent buyer card for a reason.

ReplyDeleteThey actually offered both- and now that you mentioned it... I'm pretty sure the butter option comes with warmed meat... see, I told you they gave me a frequent buyer card for a reason... now I have to go back!!!! (But to be honest, there's a Crepes place across the street that I'm dying to try as well....) I love Maine Root as well... I'd never had the Lemon Lime... it's fantastic!!!!
