Day 19- Sometimes it's ok to be disappointed.
It was a wet, damp, grumpypants kind of day yesterday. But, it was Wednesday... and I only have two days left in the city. I thought about going back to Wafels and Dinges for some comfort food... but when one of my friends said she was going for hotdogs I thought, "OMG. How have I NOT had a hotdog yet??"
I think the mistake that was made here, was that this hotdog came off of some sort of combination Halal/Meat truck. (Is that even legal? In Indian terms?? I can't imagine it would be.) They didn't have sauerkraut.. so, I got two hotdogs with grilled onions, mustard and ketchup. They were just eh, I was really disappointed. Two hotdogs and a gingerale, $4.00. Easily my cheapest meal to date.
I fell asleep without posting this last night.... so today, you'll get two posts. Lucky you!!! I'll even give you a preview of what is in store today... while I was waiting for my ok hotdogs, I saw another truck down the street... walked down to check it out, and it was an Ecuadorian food truck. Today, I will enjoy Ecuador.
